Yogyakarta — An impressive achievement has been recorded by Mohamad Risqi Indrayana, S.Pd., S.Sos., M.M., a doctoral student in Management Science at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). He has successfully earned the Best Delegate award twice through two Indonesian Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) programs, representing achievements at both the national and international levels.
The two achievements were earned through programs held in 2026.
His first Best Delegate award was achieved during the IYEN National Leaders Chapter Yogyakarta, held from August 3–6, 2026. The program provided participants with opportunities to strengthen leadership capacity, expand their networks, and engage in various personal development and collaborative activities.
Throughout the program, Mohamad Risqi Indrayana was recognized as Best Delegate, reflecting his performance and active participation during the program.
His achievement continued beyond the national level. Risqi once again received the Best Delegate award during the IYEN Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Chapter 28, held from September 22–25, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Earning the Best Delegate award for the second time demonstrates Risqi's consistent performance across IYEN programs while also highlighting his ability to engage and adapt in a broader international environment involving participants from diverse backgrounds.
From Yogyakarta to Kuala Lumpur
The two achievements represent an interesting progression, as they were earned in two different settings. His first recognition came through the IYEN National Leaders Chapter Yogyakarta, while his second was achieved through the IYEN Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Chapter.
Within a period of less than two months, Risqi recorded two Best Delegate achievements, progressing from a national-level program in Indonesia to an international program in Malaysia.
As a doctoral student in Management Science at UMM, Risqi's academic background adds another dimension to his personal development journey. Doctoral-level education requires strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and academic leadership, which can be further strengthened through experiences in youth programs, leadership activities, and collaborative forums.
This achievement also highlights that personal and professional development can take place beyond the academic environment. Participation in youth programs, networking with people from different backgrounds, collaborating across regions and countries, and experiencing cross-cultural environments can contribute significantly to the development of leadership capabilities.
Earning the Best Delegate award twice through IYEN programs in 2026 marks a notable achievement for Mohamad Risqi Indrayana, adding valuable national and international experience to his academic and professional journey as a doctoral student in Management Science.
The achievements in Yogyakarta and Kuala Lumpur demonstrate that learning and personal growth can take place in many different environments—both within academic institutions and through leadership experiences at national and international levels.
